Annika's Birthday Present

We got Annika an Anywhere Chair from Pottery Barn Kids.  We even let her have it early (well I couldn't wait til her birthday to give it to her.)

Birthday and Thankgiving Shirts

Mac is Back!

Thank goodness, I finally have my MacBook Pro back!  For some reason about 2weeks ago my computer went kaput.  Thankfully, two of the husbands' from my mom's group offered to help recover my pictures and see if they could get it working again..  The first husband worked so hard for 2 hours and wasn't able to pull anything off(thanks so much for trying Mike).  I was a bit worried at this point because I knew that I didn't have my Christmas pictures from last year saved anywhere else.  (ie: Annika's 1st Christmas pictures).  What is funny is the night before it died I thought to myself, I should back-up my pictures just in case.  To bad that was a day to late in thinking that.

Another mom in the group then volunteered her husband and he actually pulled my hard drive out of the computer, put it in some device and was able to pull those pictures off and a few others.  (thank you so much Chris!)

After, that we took dear Mac to the Apple store and they confirmed it was indeed my hard drive that was shot.  Nobody knows why as my laptop is only 9months old.  Thankfully, it was under warranty, and we went ahead and paid for the extended warranty because of this.  

I will update more later, now I'm off to bed.

Our Little (big) Girl's Stats

So we decided to go ahead with the flu vaccine this year.  My deciding factor was that Brett just got it and was fine, and she is in daycare (3days a week for 2hours).  While we were there I asked if they would weigh her.

She weighed in at 23lbs 4oz (10 1/2months old) at her 9month appointment she was 21lbs!

New things about Annika:
She has 6 teeth
She is walking like crazy and she never stops
She knows if she gets past the gate into the hallway to run away from daddy.
She says dada all the time (but not just to brett)
Here favorite toy right now is a small ball that she carries everywhere she walks
She loves to point at things
She likes to carry her truck with the cow driver and throw it on the couch.

SHE SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT (I probably shouldn't type this but I am so happy).
Her bed time is 6:30pm (she decided this) and she wakes about 6:30 or 7:00am.

Apple Annie's Pumpkin Patch

We decided to go to Apple Annie's Pumpkin Patch today!  It was super chilly when we left (47 degrees) so we were wearing sweaters and such.  To bad when we got there and started walking around we got pretty hot.  We had a wonderful time, and Annika liked picking her pumpkin out.  She wanted to walk everywhere and to not be held.  To bad she got so excited when she saw the pumpkins or the hay that she would try and run and then would fall.  This ended up in the gum of one of her front teeth now being purple and has a cut on it.  Thankfully, that doesn't seem to be bothering her at all.  I also went a bit picture happy as you can see below.

Annika's NOT Halloween Costume

This is NOT Annika's halloween costume.  I ordered it to late and they only had the 6-12month and 2-3T size so I just ordered both.  Well the 6-12 was WAY to small.  The 2-3T as you can see is to big, but it is still super cute(we are sending the small one back and keeping this big one for next year).  Keep an eye on the blog for what Annika is going to really be for Halloween.  We should have that here in a few days.  So Annika won't be a Giraffe for Halloween.
